Open to Adults including CCC, UC and CSU University Students as well as to High School Students

Qualified High School Students: Free (See your high school counselor).

Arabic 180 is equivalent two years of High School Arabic

Arabic 185 is equivalent to three years of High School Arabic

California State Seal of Bi-Literacy https://www.cde.ca.gov/sp/el/er/documents/ssbposter.pdf

High school students can get the seal if they take equivalent to 4 years Arabic. Transferable: to All CCC, UC and CSU- 5 College Credit Units for each Arabic course offered by Coastline

If you have some knowledge of Arabic; but, did not take Arabic 180, you can file a request/petition in person or by e-mail (Prerequisite Evaluation/Challenge Request) to matriculation@coastline.edu and katran@coastline.edu

with a copy to elahraf@aol.com who will follow up to help you enroll in Arabic 185
