EAO Objectives

The Egyptian American Organization (EAO) was founded in 1984 to serve the interests of Egyptian Americans and preserve their rich cultural traditions. 

Its mission includes fostering pride in Egyptian heritage, the Arabic language, and a bicultural identity among both adults and youth. 

The EAO also aims to strengthen understanding and cooperation between the Egyptian American community and the broader American public, as well as support progress in Egypt.

As a nonprofit, tax-exempt California corporation, the EAO is powered by dedicated volunteers—many of whom are professionals who contribute their time and resources. 

The organization hosts a variety of annual events, including the “Outstanding Achievement Award” ceremony, educational lectures, and social gatherings for all ages. Membership is open to Egyptian Americans and others interested in Egyptian culture and the EAO’s mission.
