EAO Rising Star Scholarship
Students, please have the following documents and information ready before starting on your application:
Section 1- Personal information: submit your full name, birthdate, address, email, phone number, and grade level (This program is offered to HS junior and senior students of Egyptian descent who are Southern California residents, and applying or been accepted to undergraduate colleges in the fall.)
Section 2-Academics:
1-An unofficial copy of your grades in grades 10th, 11th, and 12th that includes your name and student ID-
2-A detailed description of the extracurricular activities you participated in.
Other Accomplishments: Include a detailed description of the following and the year/s accomplished. Write NA if it is not applicable:
1-Leadership opportunities.
2- Community service (non-religious and non-political affiliated).
Section 3-Essays 250-500 words limit: Respond to the following prompts, and we ask that you refrain from using any AI tools to write your essays.
1-What does success mean to you? What are the steps you took to achieve it? How did that success shape your life? And what advice would you give someone going through a similar experience?
2-What ideas do you have that would positively impact the Egyptian community in the United States of America? How would you implement your ideas? And what would you do to ensure their success?
Section 4-Letters of recommendation: upload one to two letters (one letter is required, the second letter is optional).
Section 5: Bonus Points: upload any other documents or information that might support your application and showcase your accomplishments.
